TERMS OF SALE
REGISTRATION – Any persons wishing to register or be on premises at any time must be 16 years of age or older. Cherokee Auto Auction reserves the right to deny or suspend buying privileges at any time without notice.
–Dealer registration fee is $150.00 with proof of dealer’s license
–Individuals and non-dealer company fee is $200.00
–Registered buyers are allowed ONLY 1 guest on auction days. Guests are not permitted to bid or buy any vehicles.
–Buyers cards and guest passes must be displayed at all times. If not, you may be asked to leave the property.
–Buyers will be charged $50.00 for a replacement card.
–Please note that NO large bags, purses, or cases will be allowed in or on the auction lot.
VEHICLE PURCHASE – All vehicles are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with no warranty or guarantee of any kind.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of mileage, vehicle description, or title information. THIS INCLUDES KEYS.
–Once vehicle is sold, it is the buyer’s responsibility to secure said vehicle. Cherokee Auto Auction will not be held responsible for any damages or theft once auctioneer closes the bid.
PICK UP & PAYMENT – Vehicles are to be paid for and removed from premises by the end of the day Monday following the auction. A late fee charge of $50.00 and storage fee of $20.00 per vehicle will be charged beginning Tuesday.
–Forms of payment accepted are cash, cashier’s check (Preferred), money order, company check (must be accompanied by letter of credit from financial institution) or credit card will incur a 3.5% charge. A cashier’s or certified check is required for purchases of $10,000.00 or over. A driver’s license and social security card is to be presented if cash is the method of payment.
–Buyers will be responsible for any and all fees charged back due to NSF.
LOADING – Load assistance can be offered to any buyer for a charge of $25.00 per vehicle. Buyer must understand that Cherokee Auto Auction will not be responsible for any damages that may occur to the transporter, trailer, or auction vehicle.
LIABILITY RELEASE – Buyers and guests are to be aware that our facility may contain hazards that could cause personal injury…AKA vehicles and property. Buyers and guests waive and release Cherokee Auto Auction of any loss, injury, damage or other occurrence.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to have knowledge of State or Country registration laws pertaining to titlework or transportation of any vehicle.
Cherokee Auto Auction reserves the right to amend or change these terms at any time.
